Origin of village name Donomulyo
 

Based on the previous folklore Donomulyo Village was still a wilderness that then came from someone who from Mataram is anchored on the south coast beaches around Jonggring Saloko then do tripe pedestal, along with family and relatives up to its development into a township called Mentaraman.Tripe again expanded its base towards the north and village called Bleder. Bleder sense of the word is a kind of land is soft and easy to move. Village Bleder precisely around the crossroads at the statue Trisula. Around the location of the land settlement Bleder easily moved or dropped.In the Dutch government Bleder area is rubber plantation and rice fields where the land is fertile and earnings rubber plantations and rice agriculture is quite good. Has also built water sources that serve to irrigate rice farming and rubber plantations. However, after the Dutch government no longer has a rubber plantation transformed into agricultural fields and function fields. Moderate water sources that already exist in part is pent-up land is gone.Approximately in 1950 the name was changed into Donomulyo Bleder settlement, which means that Dono is weweh or like charity and Mulyo is precious, so the literal meaning Donomulyo are people who like to do good or noble life will be happy.

Around 1990 Donomulyo village consisting of seven hamlets that Donomulyo, Bandung, Mulyosari, Kalipakem, Mentaraman, Gondangrejo and Gondangtowo broken down into four hamlets. The village consists of hamlets Donomulyo Donomulyo, Bandung, Mulyosari, and Kalipakem, while the village consisted of hamlets Mentaraman Mentaraman, Gondangrejo and Gondangtowo.In 1991 the village Donomulyo pioneered back in planting cacao trees that are managed by the PTP, yet from early harvest something happens that results in part by the citizens of cacao trees are cut down again. While others still treat cocoa trees which until now has become an additional income for residents is quite good.Starting November 2008 Donomulyo village assisted by an Islamic foundation in the form of palm tree seeds for free and rocks palm fertilizer until the tree can be harvested first.
